The ORVEN Standard
Quality shouldn't be a feeling.
Tolerance ± 0.5mm“It looks good” is not an inspection. Before any project is presented as complete, it's measured against the same four-part checklist, applied the same way, every time.
Alignment
Edges, reveals, and sightlines square and true.
Skirtings, panel joints, and door reveals are checked against a level and a straightedge, not by eye. A gap that looks fine from standing height often isn't square at all — we measure it before it's signed off, not after a client notices it.
Joints and seams
Tight, consistent, and deliberate — never an accident of the install.
Mitred corners meet where they're meant to meet, with a gap only where the design calls for one. Seams in flooring, wall panelling, and worktops are checked for consistent width and for material grain or pattern that lines up across the joint.
Hardware fit
Every hinge, handle, and track operates as it should, not just looks like it should.
Doors and drawers are opened and closed repeatedly during inspection, not once. Hardware is checked for flush seating, smooth operation, and correct alignment under load — not just correct placement at rest.
Finish consistency
One sheen, one shade, one standard across the entire run.
Paint sheen, material batch, and colour are checked across full walls and runs in natural light, not sample-sized swatches. A finish that's correct in one corner and slightly off two metres away fails the inspection.
When it's applied
Quality is controlled throughout.
The ORVEN Standard is applied at key stages of execution, not only at handover. Each milestone is reviewed before the next stage begins, allowing issues to be identified early and protecting the quality of the finished result.
